What ingredients are in your beard oil?

Our Skagen Beard Oil contains a carefully selected blend of natural oils including argan oil (rich in vitamin E and fatty acids), jojoba oil (which mimics your skin's natural oils), and sweet almond oil (for softness and shine). We use only premium, natural ingredients with no synthetic additives or harsh chemicals.

How often should I use beard oil?

For best results, we recommend applying beard oil daily, preferably after showering when your beard is slightly damp. This helps lock in moisture and keeps your beard soft and healthy. If you have a particularly dry beard or live in a dry climate, you can apply it twice daily.

What's the difference between beard oil and beard balm?

Beard oil is a liquid conditioning treatment that nourishes both your beard hair and the skin underneath, helping to eliminate itchiness and promote healthy growth. Beard balm has a thicker, wax-like consistency that provides light to medium hold for styling, while also conditioning your beard. Use oil for daily nourishment and balm when you need styling control.

Can I use both beard oil and beard balm together?

Absolutely! Many of our customers use both products together. Apply the beard oil first to nourish and condition, then follow with beard balm for styling and hold. This combination gives you the best of both worlds - deep conditioning plus styling control.

How much product should I use?

For beard oil, start with 3-5 drops for shorter beards and up to 8-10 drops for longer beards. For beard balm, a small amount (about the size of a pea) is usually sufficient. You can always add more if needed, but it's better to start with less.

How do I apply beard oil?

How do I use beard balm?

Scrape out a small amount of balm with your thumbnail, warm it between your palms until it melts, then work it through your beard from root to tip. Use your fingers or a comb to style your beard as desired. The balm provides light hold while conditioning.

How should I clean my wooden brush and comb?

Remove hair from your brush and comb regularly. Clean them monthly by gently washing with mild soap and warm water, then pat dry and let them air dry completely. Avoid soaking wooden grooming tools in water for extended periods.

How long will the products last?

Do your products have a scent?
